Allison R. Cavazos, MD, is a dedicated OB/GYN in San Antonio, Texas. She joined the Oak Hills Women’s Center, P.A. family in 2017 after completing her Obstetrics-Gynecology residency program at Parkland Hospital, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas.
Always a stellar student, Dr. Cavazos initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, where she received highest honors for Academic Achievement.
While receiving her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, she also completed a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health.
Dr. Cavazos quickly became a well-regarded resident at Parkland Hospital, the largest and one of the most prestigious OB/GYN training programs in the United States, before winning the residency award for Excellence in Pediatric Gynecology.
Since joining the tight-knit family practice, she has earned her board certification and the distinction of Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dedicated to her patients, Dr. Cavazos is available to provide gynecologic care to women of all ages.
